Description: Audio for the Connoisseur: Energys CF-50 floorstanding loudspeaker. A single 1 tweeter and three 5.5 woofers combine to deliver 2.5-way audio with the flat, on-axis frequency response and low resonance for which Energy audio is known. While Convergent Source Module technology allows the tweeter and mid-range driver to operate as a single source for enhanced dispersion, Ribbed Elliptical Surround technology dramatically reduces distortion and improves fidelity.

Frequency Response: 39Hz - 20kHz

Impedance: 4 Ohms min./8 Ohms nominal

Tweeter: 1-inch (25.4mm) hyperbolic aluminum-dome

Inputs: Dual gold plated 5-way binding posts

Bottom Line:
Hi,
I have owned theese floorstanders for more than a year now,
At first i had them hooked up to a Denon avr 3805 (mid range 7.1 receiver)
i was happy with the mids and highs, but they were lacking bass quite badly!
I then moved my setup to another place in the same room, and there it was!!!
i was blown away at how low theese 5.5's could spit, keeping all the mids and lows of before!
After a month or two, i was curious as to how much theese babies could handle, i then powered them with an AVC A1SE (high end 7.1 receiver).
And WHAM! i keep checking if my sub is on/off!
Beautiful detail in the highs and mids
If i was to complain about one thing, is the highs, they are a tad too squeeky depending on the music.
But for the money, GRAB them! Feed em a powerfull amp, let them break in a while, find a good location for them, and enjoy!
