Strength:

Great midrange and treble, imaging and detail

Weakness:

Lacks bottom end, making these excellent speakers.

The midrange on these speakers are just excellent, such as guitars and vocals. Very detailed and good soundstage at this price. Mine were ex-demo and were cheaper than usual.

Weakness:

Too bright for classical music, only suitable for AV

I used the dynaudio for 4 yrs and don't like it. THE TREABLE IS TOO BRIGHT BUT THE BASS IS DIFFICULT TO BE BRIVEN. Even if mcintosh power amp cannot help to cure the problm. I am planning to replace it

i have these speakers mated to a NAD 319 integrated amp and im happy with it. being shelf speakers, they seem to be a bit laking in the bottom end, but the characteristsics of the NAD compensate for that a bit. for the price, nothing compared to these speakers in their detail of the sound. i wouldn't hesitate in recommending dynaudio to anyone.
