Strength:

- High sensitivity
- Detailed and accurate
- Strong bottom end coming from the 10" woofers]
- appealing Cerwin Vega red surround on woofer
- adjustable cross-overs

Weakness:

- slightly bright
- mid range driver nothing special

These speaker produce amazing sound. Perfect for music or home theater. The play really loud as well (up to ~117dB@200W). They have a very high sensitivity which is usually only found in horn setups like Klipsch. The speakers are very good on the low-end and not too bad in the mid and high range of the frequency spectrum. Driven by the right receiver these speakers will output clean crisp sound that is not too bright. I have used them in my home theater setup for over 7 years now and still have no reason to upgrade. I'd love to get 4 more for my surrounds.

Strength:

This many people can't be wrong...It's the bass

Weakness:

Still lookin for one.

These speakers are all I needed to carry the heavy load of my fronts. Still in the process of updating my system to dolby digital 5.1.They truly won't be tested till I can send some DVD through them. As far as CD's go they sound great. Tight bass response. I often check out Cd's from the library and have listened to everything from Bach to Beck on these.I got them for $99 dollars at Sears I should have bought four. From what I understood Sears is no longer carring this model that's why their so cheap. If you can find them get'em.

Strength:

AWESOME bass, clear highs, midsize cabinets

Weakness:

Distortion if the bass control on the receiver is put up too high

These speakers bring the noise and bass of the night clubs home to the public! I've had mine for well over a year now. Previously hooked up to a Technics SA-AX710 receiver - there was noticeable distortion in the upper frequency range but the bass was AWESOME. Had the cops visit me a couple of times :). With my Sony STR-DA50ES receiver, they're extremely accurate with enough low-end that I don't feel the need for a subwoofer for 5.1 yet.... Best with Rock or R&B!

Strength:

BASS, CLARITY, QUALITY . . . Heck, the whole box is a strength

Weakness:

What weaknesses?

I've had these for about three weeks, and I can't get enough of them. The bass is so nice, it makes music sound fuller than I've ever heard it before. The vocals and guitar are very clear and crisp. Don't think these speakers are just bass machines because they are 100% quality. Many kudos to Cerwin Vega for these, Thanks CV!

I get these for 3500FIM = ~600USD (1$ = 6.3FIM). I think these speakers are good if You listen Bass/Hit/Dance/Rap or something like that music, but if You are HiFi listener... then these products are not for You. I think I will by Amphion speakers (http://www.amphion.fi) or something like that HiFi speakers.

These speakers sound good with just about any type of music. They have sweet bass as long as you have them on a decent receiver. I have mine on a Harmon Kardon receiver and it sounds pimp. They sound awesome on song with lots of bass.

I also have the E-310 series cerwin-vega. I have to agree that these speakers are very loud and have very very good bass.Neighbors think I have 12" speakers but when I tell them that they are only 10" they always ask "What brand are they?" I also agree with one of the other reviews for the E-310 (good for rappers) yes these speakers go very well with rap music and music with deep bass. Cerwin-vega are known for there deep bass speakers. Most of other name brand speakers are loud and very clear but don't have the bass. I recommend cerwin-vega for anyone that loves to knock down your neighbors picture frames!

If you like to listen to music heavy on the Bass like I do, then these are the speakers for you. Fantastic for Home Theater and Rock/Pop. You could pay a lot more money and be dissapointed. However, these are most definitely NOT the speakers you want for classical music as the bass drowns everything else out. I will certainly but Cerwin Vega speakers again.
