SuperSlim 1600 ribbons are amazingingly natural with incredibly wide and deep soundstage. Perhaps more impressive is that the SPL does not drop offaccording to inverse square law - ie. they sound remarkably similar near and
far and the bass is very impressive.

Compared to such fine speakers as Epos ES22, Jamo Concert 8, B&W 805 and Krix,
I found the Ambience to be equally revealing but less forward so it will never
cause hearing fatigue. Voices in particular are very impressively textured and
all types music are handled beautifully but I found myself listening to female
singers such as Noa with my eyes closed to appreciate the holographic effect
you get with simple arrangements and acoustic instruments.

If you get a chance, give these hybrid ribbons a go...I have not heard anything
in a box design that comes close to the clarity and ease of these ribbon designs: real deep bass, airy treble that is not brittle and a midrange that
makes the best singers/orchestras sound even better.

These are two way ribbon hybrid speakers which I am driving in bi-wired mode.
The soundstage and detail are excellent with all music, but even more so with acoustic instruments and voice. Music just hangs in mid air while the speakers seem to disappear.

I normally listen at reasonable sound levels but these speakers are also very good at playing music at low levels, something which I have not struck with many other speakers.

Sensitivity is reasonable and I am having no trouble driving them with a Naim NAP250. Definitely have to rate them highly
