The MYRYAD MDV 200 is the best sounding dvd player you can get for this money (I payed 700 euro) and the picture is also pretty good, despite the lack of progressive scan. I have an Arcus amplifier and EVE II Final speakers.The sound is a bit aggressive,I like that, yet detailed. Bass goes deep enough and is subtle. Voices can be a bit sharp in the highs.
