Strength:

Excellent picture via HDMI (despite lack of upscaling), sublime DVD-audio sound and home cinema surround sound (has on board 5.1 / Prologic II decoding), very good CD replay quality- I sometimes struggle to tell the difference from my Arcam CD92

Weakness:

Takes time to recognise CD. Doesnt play SACD, or mp3 on DVD (only on CD). Occasional problem with front panel buttons (cosmetic rather than functional). Some firmware versions problematic.

A great combination of picture and sound, particularly now that bargains can be found

Similar Products Used:

Cheap Sony, Marantz DV9500 (and Arcam Alpha 7SE, Diva CD92 for Cd replay)
