I bought this to make fast dubs and lixes for my portable MD player/recorder. It works like a charm in this respect. I can only barely tell a CD from a digital MD recording with this deck, a huge difference from MP3 in sound quality. Very flexible, and the keyboard input is a great feature for titling my MDs. For twice what I paid, you can't go wrong, just needs a digital output of some type to be perfect. Strengths:
Excellent ATRAC encoding, much nicer than MP3. Decent CD player. Fast dubbing of CD onto MD. Great price. Weaknesses:
No digital outputs (why, Sony? even your cheap-ass CD changers have them). Similar Products Used:
