Review NaN of , from OK

Price Paid:  $169.00 from Ebay

Summary:
I bought this item for only paid $169.00 brand new i love this Mini Disc Player for the money i spent on it.

This Sony Mini Disc player is great addition to any system. With it's 4x speed dubbing you also get to choose either normal or high synchro which makes it a breeze to record a cd or any other type of audio. A mini disc player "MD" lets you record everything in high quality digital sound. When you record from different sources you are able to adjust how loud you want to record. You can record from the radio, another cd player also other cd's, and with certain tools you can also record from the internet. To me i think all the functions on this product are easy to use. The remote with this item is also very nice just why a flip of a switch you are able to control either the MD or Cd player you also can control everything from the remote. The sound quality of this item is great it really brings out crystal clear sound, and shows you really how your stereo sounds also what you should tune up on your system.

Strengths:
Speed of recording, Great sound, and the easy to read LCD screen on the Mini Disc Player.

Weaknesses:
None as far as i can see

Review NaN of , from Columbus, OH

Price Paid:  $310.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
I have been using MD for a long while on small bookshelve system and portable system. So when I upgrade to better system Denon 1801 and B&W 601 S2 with Velodyne VLF 810. This unit is my first choice that I look at. It has major features that I want. I want single CD player that capable of reasonably good quality sound. MD player. I want high speed dub. After using this machine for about 6 months now.. I think it worth money. Though I would love to see easier routine to record several tracks instead of having to program. Say select several track by track it somehow.. then start record all tracks together. The only options now are record one track or whole CD. Digital out would be good so I can make a good use of my reciever which I believe should do better job D/A. Mic in and keyboard in would be nice too. Newer model from Sony feature double time in MD recording... I don't think it is that interesting to add. At time I purchase this one, I can add $50 for that newer model which I didn't. I don't think it worth it. You can already hear ambient difference on MD play on good Autosystem already.... and 74 minute is long enough for music. Those double time feauture would be good for lecture or interview or audiobook type things.. in any case no mic in will prevent use those feature anyway.

Strengths:
Good sound for price. Separate control for CD and MD make it a breeze to operate. Solid construction. It has level control for headphone. Track it and 4x double is a good feature.

Weaknesses:
To copy several tracks is a little bit troublesome. Need track programming before. I used to use something that easier much easier. No digital out. I would love to have Mic in and keyboard connection for easier tilting.

Similar Products Used:
Sharp CD/MD Player/recorder.
