Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $30.00 from local pawn shop

Summary:
Once again I bought this at a local pawn shop for $30. At first it did not want to play, but after i used a md cleaner for it and changed some stuff in the menu, it works great! it sounds great with recording off the sat receiver music channels

Strengths:
easy to use better than CD-r the sound is near if not better than CD quality sound can protect the md if you don;t want to accidentally record over music you made.

Weaknesses:
The only bad thing I found is that it ony has one optical input and no optical out to the receiver.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $180.00

Summary:
Good apparatus. It's a perfect alternative for a taperecorder. For this price you've got all the features neccesarely for a normal audio listener.

Strengths:
Fine sound.

Weaknesses:
The Jog Dial turning button. After approximately half a year the button started giving trouble. It just did what it liked to when turned on.

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
