I needed both minidisk for recording and a cd player. The JVC seemed like a good bet. However, there are too many moving parts within the machine for the cd changer. Needless to say it's been malfunctioning for the past year and finally died.
A seperate minidisk player would have been a better choice along with a carosel player. I think JVC ill-designed this one. Strengths:
Multiple cd playback and minidisk capability. Easy to set up. Weaknesses:
Too many moving parts within the machine results in more causes for error.
