Bottom Line:
This is an excellent option to transmit digital audio from a computer to a Home Theater Receiver. It was the only option I found with digital output. Installation with Windows can be a little difficult if you are trying to connect to an existing network, you might need to connect via LAN cable first to configure the unit. The quality of the sound will be as good as the DAC inside your Home Theater. The unit can also act as wireless router to share an internet connection. You can also share a printer.

Hi all, I'm interested in finding a stereo receiver to pair with an Apple Airport Express. I'm new to this whole audio thing, and would greatly appreciate any guidance! The Airport offers an optical (toslink) link in addition to a 3.5mm mini audio jack. I've gotten mixed responses on whether ... Read More »

Best Receiver to use with Airport Express?

I need to replace my receiver and would like some advice on a good replacement (in $350 or less range). I will be using it primarily for music and plan to hook it up to my Airport Express and a turntable. I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but would like optical in for the Airtunes. And, ... Adcom GDA-600 + Apple Airport Express = noticeable improvement

Adcom GDA-600 + Apple Airport Express = noticeable improvement This weekend I Picked up an Adcom GDA-600 DAC for $175. I was curios as to whether or not it could make a difference in my current set up, which consisted of an Apple Airport Express w/ Airtunes connected to a Sansui 9090db receiver co ... Read More »
