8 years after purchase, the CD drawer started to open and close when the play button was pressed. CD's wouldn't play.

Plays well

Purchased 2 units, have been enjoying them for 12 years, still enjoying both. One repair only (optical reader+damaged tray, total $150), on unit used at college by sons.
