Strength:

The Onkyo DX-7511 is an exceptional CD player that offers exceptional sound quality, a wealth of features, and a build quality that is second to none. It's a great choice for audiophiles who demand the best possible listening experience.

Weakness:

The Onkyo DX-7511 is a very expensive CD player. It's not for everyone, but if you're an audiophile who demands the best possible sound quality, then it's worth the investment. Fiberglass cable tray

Strength:

Pretty blue display, pioneer quality from 1975. Marantz 2270 is 2 to 3 times the price, which sounds simular. One of the best values out there. | gutter repair auckland

Strength:

Great clarity, superb midrange and great value for money. Excellent transport ( for those who wish to get an outboard DAC ) 2 analog outputs( 1 variable ) and 2 digital outputs!

Weakness:

Nothing at this price.

The Onkyo DX-7511 is a great budget CD player that is worth a listen. At under S$500, u can't expect much more.

In general, this is one CD player that has clarity and is musical for all music types, somewhat a compromise for all music tastes.

Soundstage can be improved by isolating this CD player with cones.

It functions well as a transport as well. Player is well equiped with 2 analog outputs (1 variable), 1 Coax digital and optical digital. Has headphones output as well.

Strength:

All mentioned before + Music File-System

Weakness:

Impossible to turn off the autoplay function (when disc in, power turning on). Emits FM jamming signal.

This unit delivers perfect clear sound and that is the most important feature.
I like the two digital outputs - one for receiver (Onkyo TX-DS555), one for MD player (Onkyo MD-2321). Headphone volume and the second analogue output level can be controlled by headphone volume button or remote control. The display has 3 level dimmer (button on the panel only).
The Music File-System allows storing programs for 204 CD's, programs are automatically restored when CD inserted. Lack of the programming is memory capacity for only 20 tracks. For CD's with more than 20 tracks it doesn't count the total remaining time (I'm not sure about the exact count now.)
The player disturbs some FM stations with weaker signal on the receiver. Therefore a remote standby would be appreciated.
Despite of some minor limitations I'm very satisfied with this player and I don't look for any other in the near future.

Strength:

Layout, looks, dual digital outputs. dual analoque output. solid-build

Weakness:

No shuffle button at front.

I have changed my DX-7222 for the DX-7511. The sound is much better and it really looks great next to my TX-DS787 and DVD 535.
