I paid $150 for these speakers. I have paid a lot more than that for speakers (thousands). These are embarrassing to some audiophile speakers. Clean, loud, attractive, and flexible. I don't know listen to them, they are uber. If you are looking for speakers for your computer before you buy anything at your local electronics store, find a music store that has these in and listen, please. At the very least listen to "pro" gear in your budget. I can't tell you what a fool I feel for wasting money on audiophile labelled gear before moving on to "pro" gear found in music stores. Value for dollar is incomparable. List price is $200, easily had for less, putting them in the same range as lots of speaker from creative labs, logitech, etc; all fine speakers, but no match for these, no match.

I gave them 4 stars overall only because better speakers do exist on earth. Criticism, negatives? They don't deserve any, not at $150. Crank the volume to max with no music playing and you hear nothing, just silence, they are just great. Three inputs, headphone jack, front volume. Ok, just remembered there is some criticism, when using headphones connected to the headphone jack the speaker still sound when cranked up, not loudly, but they are not 100% muted, at low volume setting on the speaker, the one with the amp in it (left channel) is louder than the other.
