Strength:

Very good voice and dialog, crisp and powerfull even at high levels, can play plenty before it distorts.

None

This is my first contact with Eltax and this product, and i can only say that this i an extremely solid and well built unit with Bi-Wiring terminals, MDF board all over and a finish to match much expensier competition. And yes, it's cheap. Even if the price tag would double, it still would be a bargain in my eyes (i bought it in a package with 2 Linear Response 4.6 front speakers for aprox 120$).

It plays most DVD's with ease and with a perfect sound stage and tonal qualities even at high levels - it even does a decent job playing music CD's.

I use the Eltax Linear Response .6 Center with four Eltax Linear Response 4.6 as front/surround channels + additional subwoofer for LFE. I have a Yamaha RX-V620 RDS receiver and a Pioneer DV-545 for DVD's on top of that, and in my opinion this system leaves nothing to ask for even when playing Starwars Episode 1 (the Pod race) at room shaking levels. But for that 'room-shaking' to take place, you need a good subwoofer to play sublevels below 80-100 hz.

A solid buy if you want an inexpensive cente,r with plenty of good sound to spice up your movies!
