Strength:

Remote - very useful Construction - very solid Last memory - returns to the last song it was playing when turned off. Album/Directory skip button - skips ahead a directory. Hold switch - lets you put it in your backpack without having buttons getting pushed and skipping ahead tracks, stopping play etc.

Weakness:

Batteries - AAA...what the hell were they thinking? Battery Life - Maybe without headphones it might last as long as it claims. Battery Pack - Ugly, and makes the entire package look second rate. Anti Skip - when will there be an anti skip that just reads ahead, no matter what. Annoying that it has to refill the buffer at the start of every new song. Reliability - Wore out after about a year of casual use. Large LCD screen - but no scrolling names, just a lame looking icon. No backlight either. Load Times - the load time is atrocious, up to 75 seconds, average around 60 sec.

Works great for the first little bit. Then I notice it cuts off the last 10-20 seconds of tracks. Performance degraded from there, artifacting/metallic blipping sounds at random intervals during playback (never the same spot in the song). Only on Mp3s, not Audio CDs. Anti skip is mediocre, works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't.

Strength:

Perfect MP3 playback. Even if u have not good encoded mp3 files the player plays it as a clear sound. Excellent design, 100sec antishock - no skipping. Even if it skips after 100sec the player doesn't stop but tries to continiue from the same point. External battery pack. Excellent audio playback. Charging batteries in main unit. Fast cd recognition. Super killing SBS sound.

Weakness:

Batteries alkaline in main unit plays only 3 hours not 5 as Samsung declared. With battery pack batteries won't live 15hours as samsung declared. No display light.

Nice, comfortable mp3 player generating pretty cool sound for your ears. Aluminium top - most products from competition is fully plastic. Line OUT, nalog volume, Remote Control, Earphones. Very good value/price ratio
