Strength:

Looks to be good quality, flexible.

Weakness:

None...

I bought about 5 ft of this stuff at the local Radio Shack for about $5.00CAN. Purpose was to make a digital cable with a couple of gold RCA's I also purchased there. I hate paying $20+ for a coax "digital audio" cable when I can make it for at most $15.00.

Well, what can I say, I soldered the works together with silver solder. Used some heat shrink to make it look more respectable at the connector/cable ends. Works great as my digital audio cable.

Although I didn't believe that the digital cable made much difference, this changed my mind! I was connecting the digital output with generic RCA cable before and sounded okay but when I put on this homemade job, A-B-A-B comparisons (both my ears, and my dad's) revealed that the Ultralink actually sound more "brilliant" and alive...

Anyhow, I'm happy with it...
