Tributaries SCA 150 Silver Audio OFHCC Speaker Cables

Tributaries SCA 150 Silver Audio OFHCC Speaker Cables

DESCRIPTION

The TRIBUTARIES SCA 150 audio cable has two, thirty strand silver plated OFHC copper center conductors. One of the center conductors provides the signal path, the other provides the signal's ground path. TRIBUTARIES "Static Shield" provides superior noise protection by connecting the braided shield to the connector's casing (ground) at the source end of the cable and leaving it disconnected at the receiving end. This provides a path to ground at the "source end" component for any electrical noise that may enter the shield, but guards it from the "receiving end" component. TRIBUTARIES solid brass, gold plated double locking DLT 20 RCA type connectors ensure complete, positive connections for better signal transfer and will maintain that "like new" signal transfer over time.

Strength:

Directional, sturdy, attractive.

Weakness:

Nothing, compared to other cables in its price class.

Tributaries offers fantastic product for the money. It will make you wonder why Kimber can charge so much for products that are similar. This sounds like a digital connection; possibly the cleanest analog signal transfer I've heard- clean, unfettered, transparent. It will make a CD player you spent $500 for sound like a $1000 unit. At $150 for a one-meter, it's a steal, as with all Tributaries product.
