this supra ply 2.0 loudspeaker cable is not recommended, as it damages the sound in an unacceptable way. bass is yet the best part, at least pretty pleasant, if not really precise. but then there's a distant and unnatural tonality in the mids. it spoils the whole music, sounding almost artificial. the highs give my favourite tracks (pop, rock, jazz, classic) the rest : too low in level and faded. I can't judge if the ply 3.4 is better, but given the higher price and the reviews, that must surely be the case ?!

Weakness:

Sounds horrible

This cable is really average. I can admire only bass which is tight and easy to following. Midrange and high end is very dry, 'technical' and lack of musicality. Sound stage is very average too.

Strength:

A neutral and well balanced sound. Clean, clear and detailed.

Weakness:

Ugly looks (same colouring as my toothpaste)...

I like this cable for it's neutrality and extended frequency range. It's very well balanced, doesn't favour any part of the frequency range over another. This makes it an excellent companion to my ALR Jordan Entry 2M speakers, which shares the same lean and well balanced character.
The bass is drier and more neutral than the meaty and warm bass from Tara Labs Omni (which I also have used). Treble is more detailed than the Omni's, and smoother than the F-14's. Midband is clean and clear, very neutral.
This is a tight sounding cable, a smooth sound but with rythm, timing and punch. Not laidback nor relaxed. Suits most types of music well, a fit-and-forget cable. Perhaps lack a bit of ambience and 3D soundstage, but for thoose qualities you must pay more... For the price, the Ply 2.0 is simply excellent.

* Used with:
Amp: Alchemist Axiom
CD: Micromega Junior with Alchemist TS-1D DAC
Turntable: Thorens TD280-MkII, NAD PP1 phono stage
Cassette: NAD 6340
Speakers: ALR Jordan Entry 2M

I listen to Mike Oldfield, Barbara Streisand, The Beloved, Tears For Fears, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Vangelis, Enigma...

Good looking cable (ice blue color), 2 x 2.0 mm2 , very well made !however the sound is only average for the money (8 US $/m)
smooth and balanced but never opening up, detail and clarity are only
the expected.
Honestly, this is an average cable !!!, there are better options
for less money ! I wonder if ply 3.4 is similar...
