Bottom Line:
If you are looking for some inexpensive speaker cables for
your stereo system or for surround sound speakers - skip
this stuff. It really stinks!! This was my second upgrade
for a second stereo system I have in my bedroom. The first
upgrade was to get rid of the cheesy Sony mid-fi components
I had collected during the late 80s and early 90s.
I traded them in at a local used hi-fi shop for an
Adcom tuner/preamp and Adcom amplifier. Just changing the
electronics made all the difference in the world - even with
the small Audiosource speakers I was using. You didn't have
to be an audiophile to hear the amazing difference.
I then replaced the Radio Shack speaker wires I was using
with this stuff - and was really disappointed. The sound is
nowhere near as full or pleasing. And quite frankly, I con-
sider it a big waste of my time and money to have bought
this stuff. Needless to say - it will be going VERY SOON.
So if you are on a budget - just skip this over-advertised
junk and just get some basic radio shack speaker wires.
