Harmonic Technology Pro-9 Reference Speaker Cables

Harmonic Technology Pro-9 Reference Speaker Cables

DESCRIPTION

Harmonic Technology’s Pro-9 Reference SE 2009’s version (available as a mono speaker wire, internal bi-wire or external bi-wire formats) is an improvement of any of our previously released Pro-9 speaker cables. We have re-designed it with 99.9997% Single Crystal Copper (OCC Copper), used a new construction structure and improved the soft PE and High Tech Teflon insulation. The Pro-9 Reference SE also has added flexibility for winding around tight corners.

Iv`e just loaned these cables for a trial period of 8 days. The cables are one years old an have only been used as a demo, they have played for about 20-30 hours, and the break in time is about 100 or so hours. Somewhere i had read that the need 400 hours? But who really knows? My first impression is that they are a bit harsh and the lower end a bit blury, but i only had them for one day now. I`m ready too get my Rega Saturn cd-player to play from 9-7!!!! I think these cables needs a proper burn in time, perhaps 100 hours or so. So this is not a final review, i will get you one later on, whwn break in time is over. Iv`e compared these cables with Lavardin, AZ and Danish Dyrholm cables, and for the time it is the AZ whos the winner, but we will wait and see after break in time!
