Strength:

Inexpensive for the quality you receive

the daiyo digital line of cables is a wonderful series of high-end cables. All metal ends, 24kt gold plate, oxygen free, extremely fine particle copper, shielding, great dielectric insulation, it has it all except the ad campaign, and the price, of the big boys.

as I've alleged in other articles, i am sonically challenged when it comes to detecing the nuances of how many angels are dancing on any of the audiophile pins of contention.

but if you can buy a lexus at hyundai prices, how much more do you need to know?

recommended.

I've been using this cable to rate how good a high end digital cable sound. Besides the blue cable jacket, it looks exactly the same as those yellow video cables that come with new components. This led me to believe that it is nothing more than a video cable... until I read the label today. No wonder it sounds so much better than cheap video cables! Back in the old days, I compared this cable against Audiodyne Datalink ($70) and it came victorious. It has one of the best midrange and overall frequency balance. In comparison to a LAT Int D-20, it doesn't sound as transparent but it's still an excellent cable. Heck, I don't expect that much from a $10 wire. As far as I know, Daiyo doesn't make high end digital cables. But they certainly have the best low end digital cable in the world. Definite 5 stars.
