    Strength:

I give this solid 5 because of its performance for the price. First thing about cables: all cables won’t work well with all systems. In my case, between van der hull, naim, silent wire, monster, and lot of other more expensive rca’s this budget pair worked wonders between my nagra pre amps and McIntosh monoblocks. I wanted something more than 2 meters and had as I wanted to keep my monos as close to the speaker to get the wires shorter between the monos and the speakers. Speakers in this case are a pair of Martin Logan esls. I had this cable for long in storage since I though I had upgraded to higher end stuff. So when the mono blocks came home, I tried every single RCA’s 10 times the price of gsnakes and it didn’t had the transparency and authority of bass the gsnakes had. They are built to last a life time. If I remember correctly I got them on a close out sale for 45 bucks a pair. They used to retail the double I think. I think for the price it’s hard to beat it’s value and for me since it worked out better than high end cables I really would say they were a lifer saver. It doesn’t mean my other cables are bad but system matching matters when it comes to high end cables. Between nagra and McIntosh I highly recommend audio quest gsnakes irrespective of its price

    Weakness:

System matching, not so flexible, cloth isn’t easy to clean

    Strength:

good looks, low price, warmth, musicality

    Weakness:

    not that detailed

Replaced a pair of Outlaw PCA cables from the analog outputs of a Rotel RCD-855. Great synergy... these are very good sounding cables for the price IMO, soundly beating the Outlaws. You wouldn't think so from the price (and it could just be purely synergy) but to my ears they have a warm, euphonic sound without sacrificing detail too much.

    Strength:

    Looks impressive - nice packaging

    Weakness:

    Performance - Price

I found this cable does not work as well as the original cable I bought with the Sub. The original cable is a Pudney & Lee gold series. The G- Snake has been an expensive experiment
