    Strength:

    Build quality. Nicely assembled cable.

    Weakness:

    Cannot evaluate.

This is less a review and more a warning. Before you purchase, please be aware that this is a POLARIZED c7 connector, which means that very, very few DVD players can use it at all. I bought mine without being aware it was polarlized (meaning its C7 connector has one square peg and one rounded one rather than the two rounded ones typically seen in the unpolarized connectors that DVD players use). For me, this was a purchase that was an entire waste of money, but you might be able to enjoy the typical Cardas power cord's benefits if your component can take the connector.

    Customer Service

Not able to help. The agent with whom I spoke tried to tell me that all C7's are polarized and that non-polarized ones are called "something else." That is simply inaccurate. Cardas did offer to terminate with a standard IEC connector for $50 plus postage, which really is not a bargain.

Stock cord that came with my player.
