Strength:

Sounds great compared to any battery powered boombox. Remote control. Built pretty tough. Bass Boost really works.

Weakness:

It does roll around easy in a car or boat. Need more control over bass and EQ, it still sounds sweet. Stronger tuner.

I have owned this boombox for over 5 years. It has been great at traveling and getting slammed around and never complained or stopped working. The CD player is sensitive to vibration, but no worse than normal. CDs sound awesome, Radio is clear with a full sound. I used the tape deck to record many tapes of radio broadcasts and they all sounded better that I expected a boombox recorded tape to sound. Has a alarm clock. Sounds great and get compliments from everyone that hears it. Its like a mini kaboom box. The sub has two settings and does make a great part of this systems likeability. There are 4 or 5 EQ settings and the Active Clear Sound does help a little. Plus the ACS lights offbeat flashing is interesting to watch.
