Strength:

Excellent control with adequate clean power
Not to demanding on placement despite rear port
Could be wall mounted with integral bracket
Clean, tight, punchy, etc
VR Tweeter same as Boston's full line of VR speakers

Weakness:

Integral bracket may tempt wall mounting and ruin the sound
Very difficult to find. Production appears to be slated for overseas distribution. Strange considering the popularity of the VR line as a whole.
Don't demand it but generally appear to like mid level seperates vs Integrated amps (then again what doesn't)

Very difficult to beat the BA VRB set-up. Not my favorite for HT however very competent for 2-channel listening or multi-channel formats. Bass is usable to 40HZ and is best described as musically tight or crisp. Mids are thankfully not dialed up for movie dialogue/sound effects and the treble (if it errs at all) leans to the slightly warm side--that is not a detriment. As the other reviewer stated; the VRB's will announce lukewarm equipment. It doesn't need to be top dollar stuff as I've switched various components and finally settled right back where I started. The pair is driven by a modestly priced Yamaha M-45 that controls them very, very well. I wasn't crazy with either of my Integrated units about the sound. One Yamaha and one Denon each having 110 watts full spectrum didn't do the speakers justice--the difference was noticable even considering the time consuming chore of swapping cables.

Customer Service

Boston Acoustics is generally been excellent with my parts requests.

I don't want to go there. Might cause me to think about all the good things in life I could have spent my cash instead of Audio.

Strength:

Dynamic's is amazeing for bookshelf size..
Excellent overall sound
Build quality

Weakness:

NONE

Thease are outstanding speakers for the price. bass, treble, midrange all is crystal clear. the boston speakers all have a very forward sound, with excellent imageing. The construction is first rate, very solid, heavy for their size.
I have auditioned many speaker's before buying these, none of which could match the sonic power of the vrb's.. I am useing pioneer elite electronics and they are a perfect match...
Put these on you're shopping list... If you are useing them with quality electronics. They are VERY revealing, not good if you are useing mass market electronics.
