from Video Only Summary: First off, the reason my wife and I bought this unit is for the road. We didn't want to put a permanent entertainment system in my truck (Ford F150), we wanted a unit we can move from car-to-car with ease or put in a bedroom. Over the Christmas holidays we spent over 24 hours round trip on the road and the unit was strapped on the center councel facing backward. The kids, when they were awake, loved watching the movies, the 9" screen was perfect size and has great imaging. The only real complaint is the remote layout is bad, volume control is hidden amoung other buttons and the remote does not have a open/close button for the DVD player. The unit, itself, button layout is also not very well laidout as well, that is only nit-picking. The unit generates a lot of heat, maybe because I was sitting next to it, but other than little things, this unit was worth the investment and will get many miles of use.
Strengths: DVD Player, Portability - in home or from car to car, Excellent Image with a 9" screen versus 4-6" LCD screen on other portables. Weaknesses: Remote Layout and Unit button location. The unit has RCA and digital coaxial outputs, but does not have S-Video only RCA outs. Similar Products Used: None Other.
