Summary:
We bought this TV/VCR combo in order to keep our family entertained on a long car trip. It performed perfectly.
It was easy to secure between the front seats of our large SUV with an inexpensive elastic cord. The set can plug in to the car lighter socket with a supplied adapter cord. The picture was excellent quality and the 9 inch screen could easily be seen by our kids sitting in the rear seat ( we have 3 seats in the SUV ). The single speaker sound quality was adequate. We used the VCR from 4 to 6 hours per day during our 4 day car trip. We experienced no mechanical problems during that time.
Recommend to families with kids that want to keep the kids occupied on long car trips.

Strengths:
Durable, great picture, reasonable price, works off car battery using supplied adapter cord.

Weaknesses:
Single speaker provides average sound. Also, the speaker is mounted on the right side of the set so the passenger gets a loud ride when the set is used in a car.
