Price Paid: $409.00 from Good Guys

Summary:
I've mainly been very pleased with this unit. I had been very ambivalent about getting a combination unit. It does weigh a ton. Had been very good until recently when it started to turn off the TV whenever I put a tape in. So now I've got TV with no VCR working. I does cost more ($120 an hour) to repair combination units. Very easy to program.

Strengths:
Very easy to program. Acceptable picture and sound though not as good as our Sony. Sleep timer. Alarm. Many little extras.

Weaknesses:
VCR broke.
