I have had no trouble in seeing a video with this unit.
I did lose the remote in transit as I moved and so that is a bummer.
But I can see and play and rewind the video and it worked well for me.
I just don't like the digital converter box as the audio on that is less than with the tv.
oh, by the way, the image of the Memorex MVT2090 you show here is flipped around backwards
the in ports on the front are on the right.
All in all I really like this little machine.
