Bottom Line:
This is the simplest, most spartan turntable I ever owned, and yet it reproduces the fullest, sweetest sounding music, with great detail and soundstage accuracy. A lot to ask for at this price point, but the RM-4 delivers.
I have the table teamed up with a Denon DL-160 moving coil cartridge and a Creek Phono Stage amp. B&K pre-amp and monoblocks and Dali Grands pump the glorious sounds out.
I find myself listening to more vinyl than CD's nowadays. Especially mint Telarc and Mercury recordings, where the RM-4 shines bright.

Bottom Line:
Don't be afraid of the Stereophile class D rating. With the Blue Point Special Evo III this is an affordable way to find out about vinyl. This is the first turntable that makes me understand what all the vinyl buzz is all about. Awesome for not much money. Works well with my Counterpoint SA-3.1 pre-amp.
