Review 1 of 2

Summary:
When I was talking with D.J. of Blackdiamond he stated that these clamps do not come back, and he is correct. It was like flipping a light switch when I installed the unit on my VPI Jr. table. The music was just better, warmer, fuller and it was uniform through out the sound spectrum. I have a standard AQ arm and Micro Benze Silver Cartridge, which are good but not the "High End" we all wish we had, however the difference maid me pull out the albums to see what I was missing. In short I feel it is the micro dynamics. There was just more of the refined cues of the recording. With his money back policy you cannot go wrong. Now what will I hear if I upgrade the table, arm and cartridge? Better not tell the wife!!

Strengths:
Lowers background noise

Weaknesses:
None that I can think of.

Summary:
I recently purchase this record clamp, which I use on a VPI HM19 4 turnable.I feel that even though it is expensive at $200.00, it is a big improvement over the numerous record clamps I used in the past (VPI, SOTA and etc...).

I feel that the overall rating system is silly, and probably causes more problems then it is worth. Anyway, I give it a 3 1/2.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
