Beautiful midrange. Excels with strings and vocals.

This is an excellent amplifier for somebody who prefers "sweet" tube sound, without the usual hassles of tube equipment. The amp is designed to be used for long periods of time without overheating and is capable of sustaining its performance at lower volumes. It is a beautiful amplifier for those who listen to mostly classical music, particularly chamber and "quieter" music. It falls short in recreating the shimmer of cymbals and does not hold up as well with cacaphonous scores. It would also be a good match with speakers that may err toward the "bright" side.
