Bottom Line:
This little pre is a Stereophile class b rated phono preamp, its a very versatile pre too. I have used it for one year and have always enjoyed it's performance. I recently bought a $3000 Audio Research preamp with an already outstanding phono pre inside and this little pro-ject sounds just as good, and way more flexable! I hear that simply upgrading the tubes has a really super sound upgrade,I have never needed to do that however,as it sounded very good by it's self! I would highly recommend buying one if you like spinning vinyl..
