Naim NAC 92 Preamplifiers

Naim NAC 92 Preamplifiers

DESCRIPTION

Careful circuit topology design results in a low noise floor and minimal distortion. Input facilities are comprehensive. Input 1 has RCA sockets, making it compatible with a wide range of source components and can be configured for moving magnet or moving coil cartridges quickly and simply.

The remaining four inputs, two of which have full tape output and monitoring facilities, all use top quality lockable DIN sockets, offering a common signal ground for both channels to provide optimum performance.

The NAC 92, like all Naim pre-amplifiers, will accept the full output of any source without overloading.

Strength:

PRAT

Weakness:

Can sound harsh and bright pairing with wrong speaker

Upgraded from Naim Nait 3(purchased for 900SGD) to NAC92/NAP90. Definitely has more PRAT and control over Nait 3. However, its mid-forwardness and light-weight may not be everybody's cup of tea. Need very careful speaker matching. I heard them with Ruark Equinox speaker it it was a fantastic match ...
