Strength:

Highly underrated 5.1 channel preamp, that is easily worth the money as 2 channel preamp alone. Precise and detailed as well as fluid and rounded. Challenged the Audio Research LS15 as stereo amp (but without the balanced connections)

Weakness:

Not a much sought after model means it doesn’t keep it’s value as much as better kniwn brands when bought new...

Strength:

Fabolous sound in both stereo and multi-channel. Perfect for SACD and DVD-Audio.

Weakness:

No processor built in, so you will have to rely on the processor in your DVD-player. There is also only one 6-channel input possibility, so it will not be possible to attach for instance both DVD and sat.

Totally analogue hometheater preamp with valves. It sounds the part as well. It is tonally rich, relaxed and very musical. This is the preamp for the music lover that also wants a high-end hometheater possibility. It is not a high-tech wonder for cinema lovers who are not very interested in high-end audio reproduction in stereo. They will be better off with a high quality receiver or processor/power-amp combination.
