The Bryston BP-6 is a very open and detailed preamp but it is not bright in anyway and is dead dead quiet the music just comes from a black back ground very amazing to hear, this is a excellent preamp. Am running it with a Bel 1001 MK V Amplifier and the sound is so life like unbelievable if you find this preamp buy it end of story
