I bought this set some years back, it gives reasonably clear sounds for different types of music, especially good for easy listening. Considering the price range, it is a good buy.

Easy to set up, Good power plenty in reserve

No DTS

I brought this amp on a last minute deal at Best Buy during the 1998 holidays (out of the box display). I have been impressed with the sound quality and power, but the lack of of DTS bums me out. I added a powered sub to it 6 months ago and now it really rocks. My videos and DVD sound great and all my friends love to come over and watch movies. I'll be adding a 55" widescreen HDTV to top it off. I'm sure I will be looking to upgrade to a AV/reciver with DTS and all new bells and whistles.
