I took the plunge on the MC2301's and have been treated to wonderful music. Super quite with amazing detail and resolution. Also they have enough power to listen to Opera at concert or near concert levels without sounding too stressed at all. The workmanship appears first rate and I feel these amps will last forever. The look of the amps is also very cool but that is not why I bought them. I would buy the very same amps if I did not already own these, an audio purchase that has paid off in spades. Worth a listen if you're considering buying a first class tube amp setup. I am listening to them through a pair of Sonus Faber Guarneris and they really compliment each other. The Mcintosh MC2301's......A class act for sure.
