Strength:

Two sets of bindings, great for bi-wiring. Balanced inputs.Plenty of reserver power. Don't let the 100 watts fool you! Great bass slam, nice detailed highs and great rich mid-range.

Weakness:

None

I traded a Jeff Rowland Model 5 for this unit and at first I had buyers or seller's remorse! The Rowland had a warm tube quality and the Krell just didn't sound right. The preamp that I had accommodates 2 sets of balanced inputs and I discovered, after about 2 weeks of listening, that I had both balanced inputs hooked up to the left channel only! After switching the correct way I have been awed by this amp! It has more power than a crazed dictator! The bass has been tremendous! I didn't know that my speakers could deliver that much bass! The sound stage is extremely wide and goes way beyond the speakers. Voices are rich and detailed. Strings have come alive. This is the first time I have heard what a piano should really sound like! They more I listen to it the better is sounds! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this unit. I would like to get another one and use them as mono amps.:)
