I have had AR Classic 120,CJ's,Carys,Aranov,ML,Krell,Bryston, I think you get the picture. Nothing but nothing comes close to the sound of this amp. The clarity and soundstage are as close as i have feel to live music. The detail is best described by listening to Steely Dan's Gaucho's strumming acoustic guitar in the background,something I ,after close to a million times i have listen , never heard before. The music decay is as good as I"ve heard.Bass is tight and although it might be due to my KEF Reference 4 I have eliminated my M&K sub.

This amp is very tube sensitive. Do not use Svetlanas, for some reason they create a glare ,use 6550C from GE OOHH sweet music.

The issue of whether Tubes or Solid State has been settle for me a long time ago. This amp just set a value/performance ratio that's a standard by itself . Pa le Vous France .... We WE monsiur.
