Strength:

I bought this unit 2 weeks ago. It is 14 years old, but it does not make its age. It sounds amazing. It is the heaviest amplifier that I ever had. The sound quality is impressing. Harman Kardon makes really high end stuff. I use an external SMSL DAC. I drive a pair of Canton GLE 470 and a canton sub. The presets stays flat. No need of adding bass or treble. This reciever is made to drive high end speakers. 100w per channel on stereo mode. I got it for only 200$ cad.

Weakness:

It heats up. I mean really. It can replace a furnace in my home. I ordered a silent 5v 80mm fan from Noctua. I hope it will help.
