Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

This is a very good and well built rack. I bought this to fit my Onkyo av receiver which is extremely massive. Its a perfect match for medium to huge components which has adjustable shelf and spike feet aswell. For the price you cant go wrong.

Review 2 of 6

Price Paid:  $199.00 from used, Bergen, Norway

Summary:
This is my third rack, and the best so far. It is sturdy, it allows mounting of spikes (I use soundcare M8 spikes) and the shelfs are adjustable in hight. It is also very good for component cooling.

It is of high enough quality for anyone, including the audio/videophile enthusiast, but cheap enough for the mainstream user also.

Strengths:
- sturdy
- elegant
- allows for spikes
- adjustable number of shelfs
- adjustable hight between shelfs
- component cooling because of open design

Weaknesses:
- takes some work rearranging the shelfs (4 allen-key screws)
- can not hide cables in any way
- nothing to mount cable ties in

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Racksandstands.com

Summary:
I found this to be a very attractive and sturdy rack when assembled. The smoked glass shelves give class and style to the unit. I opted for the optional casters ($20.00)for ease of loading and wiring my components. The assembly however, was very difficult and time consuming. Get ready to swear and groan. The bolts are hard to line up with the holes and with the assembly holding the receiving nuts. On mine, I finally gave up on two bolts that are not completely tightened becuase the receiving nut had moved. The shelves are still extremely strong and stable. On the whole, I think that this rack is well worth the money. If you have more dexterity and patience than I did, you may not find the assembly so difficult.

Strengths:
Looks Strength General quality

Weaknesses:
Difficulty of Assembly

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $219.00 from Used Audio Advisor

Summary:
Outstanding design. I purchased this rack used as a demo from Audio Advisor. I didn't have a lot of money at the time but I had a lot of components that needed a home. I received the rack with no instructions but in a little under 2 hours I had the thing together and it's worked fined ever since. Well made, versatile design and cool looks make this stand a no brainer...

Strengths:
Rigid, well made, cool design, strength, vesatility and quality parts.

Weaknesses:
None in well over 2 years of use.

Similar Products Used:
None

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
