Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
This is a beautiful rack. I got it at a great price and it blends in well with my other furniture. It is heavy but extremely easy to assemble. There is ample space between slots for good ventilation.

Strengths:
Beautiful, modern looking. Sturdy and lots of space in between slots.

Weaknesses:
3 leg design is a little wobbly but this is a minor minor complain.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $519.00 from RacksandStands.com

Summary:
This is a great rack. The wood (I have Maple) is just beautiful, without a blemish or mark anywhere (very well packed in box) and sanded very smooth. Quality hardware and glass. Goes togather very easy. The rack stands 55" high and is pretty sturdy though I would not put any thing too heavy on the top shelf. The front of it looks kind of like a ladder and may entice children to climb it. I have my amp (Perreaux PMF2150B) on the bottom shelf it's a bit of a bruser at 53lbs and just fits. Most amps except the real heavyweights should fit with no problem. The cable hider works well but it takes a few tries to get it just right. If you are constantly changing your system it may be a hassle. I have 5 componets on the rack and use standard Monstercable rca kept as short as possible and all cable routing looks clean. I guess my only gripe is the price. I would rather put the money into a componet but I most say my stereo has never looked better.

Strengths:
Looks sweet, quality crafted, wide deep shelves,

Weaknesses:
price (if thats a weekness)

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $550.00 from crutchfield catalog

Summary:
This is a great product for its intented use with my H/T and audio equipment. It looks great and has a modern ,solid furntire look to it. This would look good in any family room or den. I used two of them in my home theater set up. This is well worth the money but not cheap given the other alternative in A/V racks. They also carry 2 and 3 shelf models as well. The only draw back and if you have several component set up is the wire managment set up. There are holes where the cables are placed in the back panel. You are then provided a plastic sheet to cover up the cables wires that stick on the back. I used monster cables and have CD, DVD, H/T receiver, cable so there are alot or wires. The plastic sheet won't cover up these cables. I've rearranged them cables but still no luck. Its not a big deal unless you are a stickler for cables in the back of your set up. Who looks back there anyway ? Bottomline ,this rack is sturdy , and a real piece of furniture made from wood. Its not that composite fake stuff out there.

Strengths:
Easy to assemble, sturdy, 3 colors choices

Weaknesses:
Wire managment system doesn't work.
