Ok I admit, I was floored by the looks of this sleek and sultry stand but I soon discovered this stand had more than looks ...it had teeth. Thats right ,you heard me right,I did say teeth. Not only did I damn near cut off my finger lifting this stand out of my truck on the garage door(yes garage door)I also soon realized that the hollowed out support beam in the rear, wasnt so smooth...I found a rough and jagged surface looming inside just waiting to decapitate the ends of my interconnects!I only suffered minor damages in excess of $3000.00(silver cables),so to anyone at StandDesign Iam now taking donations for some high quality copper cables...

I am also very happy with this stand. Very strong, stable, fairly easy to level, excellent ventilation (staircase design), and quite attractive. The cable run is pretty good and helps with the looks. I used the cable run for power cords primarily. Appropriate interconnect lengths keep everything else tidy.
Great Deal!

Standesign's Quattro Rack is a solid affordable product. I know it doesn't look bad because my wife allows it in the living room (which is
not the case for all of my stereo gear). This good looking audio rack
can be purchased for under $300 at Audio Advisor. I've only had one
problem with mine; a vintage Fisher 400 receiver was to wide to fit
on the shelves! So unless your into big old wide vintage tube gear, this
is a 5 star audio product.

I LOVE MY RACK. I THINK MOST OF THE PEOPLE I HAVE OVER PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THE RACK THAN THE EQUIPMENT ON IT, AT LEAST UNTIL I TURN IT ON...

I found the edges of the cord beam to be rough, and it is often hard to lead multiple wires through it without tearing up your fingers. It is also very rough on the cables.
Nonetheless, it is a very sturdy design. My only real disappointment with it is that it is not deep enough. My Harman/Kardon receiver has to sit on the top shelf (the shelf with "spiked" feet, normally for turntables or CD players) because it is too big. Even then, the feet hang off the edge, looking rather silly.

Overall, it's a good rack, but I'm now disappointed. I'm sure that for the price, I could have found somtething better.

Excellent 4-shelf stand. Very well built, and plenty of room for even thelargest of amplifiers. One piece steel frame. The top shelf sits on mini-spikes to isolate further any component you desire. Very nice looking too. Comes with spikes for carpets. Highly recommended. I'm glad I didn't settle for one of those cheapo' shelving units at Walmart!!
