Audioplan PowerStar S II Others

Audioplan PowerStar S II Others

DESCRIPTION

The star-shaped design of the PowerStar minimizes these differences in potential and establishes a direct reference to the main component in the system, the preamp or the power amp. This represents a decisive advantage in comparison to all conventional power outlet strips. In designing the PowerStar, we also paid attention to minimizing the connection points and resistances. The conductor star of the PowerStar S II is therefore soldered with pure silver and then silver-plated. This reduces the number of connection points to three per outlet: power plug to cable, cable to conductor star and conductor star to outlet. Supply voltage: 230 V ~ Power rating: 16 A Output: 7 shock-proof sockets, ground terminal Design: 3 mm2 pure copper conductor silver-plated Housing: Plastic and 3 mm aluminum fastened with 6 AntiSpike bolts, additional AntiSpike base and component feet Supply: PowerCord S Length: 1.35 m, other lengths upon request

(Suggest that you disregard the previous review!) This is a unique product! It gives truly stunning results. I advise anyone interested in obtaining the finest power distribution block (be it for high end audio, video and digital applications) should consider this Audioplan product. It has unique and patented features which puts it well above anything else. It is a thoroughly well conceived, designed, engineered and built product which offers staggering results at what turns of to be a reasonable price: true 'affordable high end'. This product is ... nothing.

I once opened it. I was not the owner, a friend of mine,
a HiFi Enthusiast, had bought it or a lot of money.

We read the manual together.
It stated something about "wires isolated by air dielectric"

Of course, only 1% of all people understand what this means:

that this box only contains blank wires .

So, we opened the box, and guess what we found : 7 pairs ( sorry, theesomes:
don't forget earth ) of wires running from the central mains into the
7 sockets.

Wow, what a crap.
