Moved to a smaller place and wanted to replace floor monitor fronts (B&W's) with a wall mountable speaker. Found these on Accessories For Less for $240 (1/2 price). I figured that we would have to lose some performance to gain floor space, Wrong! The response of these speakers is balanced and linear from bottom to top. The small sealed cabinets produce smooth extended bass without any sign of high Q boomy-ness, and the transition into the mid-high range is seamless. The tweeters are amazingly detailed and spacious without being tiring, even for hours at high volume. Imaging is very good. The most impressive qualities of these speakers is in the natural sound. Acoustic guitar is stunning. If I play my Taylor acoustic, then listen to a Taylor with the Cantons it is AMAZING how the smallest details and overtones are reproduced, same with vocals. Drums and cymbals are totally natural. Realistic is an understatement! My B&W and PSB audio geek friends are left speechless. It is supposed to sound like a small and boomy speaker, but it doesn't sound like a speaker at all, it sounds like live music.
