Strength:

many----performance at a great price. One might even buy two sets and then set them up in a DeApolito format--top speaker woofer up --bottom woofer down and that might obnviate the need for a sub woofer.

Weakness:

very few--only the long and needed break in

This an excellent min-monitor. it works well with a subwoofer . I have it on 24 inch stands and have the subwoofer behind and parellel.

It needs 50-100 hours break in even early on presents a great image and balenced sound. The speakers with a 542 NAD and Acuras 250/Band K Preamp work very well together. For a small room the imaging and depth and location of instruments is superb. This is the best combination for detailed accurate sound at a budget. My baby Maggies died and I moved in a different direction and am delighted that I did.
