Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $200.00 from ebay, new

Summary:
VERY GOOD. OUtstanding stereo. I got it at a steal! Aiwa doesn't describe their stuff as well as they can, but once you get one, their sound reproduction is great!!!, better than the rest and comparable to those high end systems like BOSE, in a cheaper version. REMEMBER THIS STEREO WAS $600 when it first came out!

Strengths:
Very clear sound. It's not the kind of stereo for Rappers, or those damn teenage punks that bass their music all the damn time! THis is sophisticated. Very appealing to look at, has revolving control center which turns the "contol face" like a hidden CD pannel in your car. Oh, ya, has a built in CD recorder. Used to cost 600 dollars. I bought it on ebay new for $189. You can record from your computer (MP3), but analog not digitally. Their's no conversion to wave files...but at least you have it on CD!

Weaknesses:
50 watts might not be loud for you but it is good enough if u live in an apt. If you add a subwoofer, it would sound really good because the two speakers that came with it has outstanding bass reproduction! Doesn't have fast speed dubbing.

Similar Products Used:
Those very expensive SHARP...you might think that sharps are not that good but their most expensive ones are high quality.
