Strength:

Extremely well made, sturdy, and well finished. Clear, tight sound with natural highs and decent bass from the ported woofer.

Weakness:

The tweeter here, while very good, is not quite as exquisite as the ones on my other (older) a/d/s/ speakers. I think cost-down part shopping is common with this famously good company after Viper bought them.

Strength:

very tight bass from the 6.5 inch woofers. able to handle the peaks of NAD's power envelope

Weakness:

Sound is equipment dependent... will not sound good on low end equipment

I want to tell you of a small a/d/s speaker. the CM 60. This is an excellent bookshelf speaker. The quality of sound that you will wring out of these is due entirely on the quality of your source and amp. I tried these with an old Pioneer amp and they sounded vague. Like something you'd but at Walmart. Next the NAD and a change of atmosphere. the speakers became authoritative. Strong tight bass warm midrange and an even top end.
